Lauren Filter began riding as a child and spent every possible moment at the barn asking questions, soaking up knowledge, and cleaning lots of tack. She was a working student throughout her junior career and soon after turning 18, began working professionally for various local trainers. Cynda Dyer of Champions Equestrian gave Lauren her start as a trainer and broadened Lauren's experience to include gated horses and western disciplines. Later, Lauren went back to her roots of serious hunter/jumper showing. She worked with Sarah at Watson Equestrian where she learned more about the intricacies of managing an elite training program. Sarah encouraged Lauren to branch out and start training on her own, which is when Liberty Hunter Jumpers was born.

Liberty Hunter Jumpers specializes in the training and coaching of competitive jumpers, showing throughout the year at both local and national levels. Also available is the starting of young horses, training of pleasure and trail horses, and general horse care lessons.
